This museum focuses on the Native Peoples of the North who live in both Eurasia and America.

These Peoples inhabit an area that stretches for more than sixteen thousands kilometers from east to west

There are some characteristic similarities and differences between the native cultures of the aectic and subarctic regions.

The Hokkaido Museum of Northern Peoples hopes that you enjoy seeing the fascinating world of these peoples displayed for you in our exhibition.
